"Until I cut back my hours, my job always kept me behind a desk. I'm not very active,
which is probably why I'm also a bit heavier than I'd like to be!
A few years ago I started feeling pain in my right knee, even when I was sitting
quietly, watching TV. My knee felt unstable when I got out of bed or a chair, and
when I was walking. My doctor took an X-ray and confirmed that I have osteoarthritis
of the knee.
The acetaminophen I was taking didn't really help much. Physical therapy gave my
knee a bit more flexibility, but didn't relieve the pain. I had a bleeding ulcer

"I'm a pretty active guy my job as a physical plant manager involves a lot of walking
and I play league basketball twice a week. I tore up my knee playing college basketball,
which kept me sidelined for about a year, but it healed up fine.
